I just love grocery shopping this time of year. The stores are so full of fresh produce! You can buy a pineapple that’s actually ripe and looks beautiful for $1-2, unlike the rest of the year, where you’ll pay $3-4. Last weekend, Sprouts had a sale for 98 cent pineapples. I picked up several and turned one of the beauties into this delicious salsa!

Here’s a video showing how to combine fresh pineapple with a few other key ingredients to make this yummy salsa.

See? It’s SO easy! :) This pineapple avocado salsa stays fresh in fridge for a couple days as well. The acid in the pineapple helps keep the avocado from getting too brown. I like to serve this salsa with tortilla scoops for easy snacking!

Have you ever made salsa with fruit? I’ve made peach and mango salsa before, and they’re always a hit. Pineapple is just as good!
