Homemade Pizza Using a Bread Machine

Ingredients

Pizza crust

  • All ingredients at room temperature 70-80 degrees
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

For the pizza toppings

  • 1 15- oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper
  • sliced mushrooms
  • spinach
  • pepperoni
  • 1 8- oz package mozzarella cheese
  • other toppings as desired

Instructions

  1. In a bread machine, measure out all the dough ingredients into the bread pan.
  2. Select the "dough" setting of your bread machine. If your machine asks for loaf size, select 1.5lb.
  3. Press start. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
  4. Prepare the toppings-- slice the mushrooms, wash the spinach if necessary.
  5. When the dough is finished, pat onto a large baking sheet. Spread the tomato sauce + seasonings onto the dough. Add the toppings and cheese.
  6. Bake 15-20 minutes or until crust is brown.
