Braised Carrots

Ingredients

Per pound of peeled, sliced carrots

  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a 2 qt saucepan. Pour water to just cover carrots. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer for about 30 minutes..

Recipe Notes

Carrots should be peeled and sliced into 1/4 inch pieces.
