Best of the Blog 2014

December 31, 2014

 Happy (almost) New Year, everyone!

I can’t believe it’s almost 2015. This was a fantastic year for the blog. It’s grown in so many ways! It’s almost been one year since I redesigned my blog (I used to be The Apron Blog) to create a more unique name and to expand my posts from only recipes to meditation, mindfulness and motivational topics.

This year I’ve really focused on building relationships with other bloggers and I’ve met quite a few awesome ones! It’s true what they say– networking and social media is the key to growing your blog. I’ve gone from just a couple readers per day to a nice size number for a small blog! I look forward to meeting more bloggers and getting to know the ones I love reading better!

Here’s a roundup of my favorite and most popular posts from 2014!

I think this was my all-time favorite recipe– in taste and photography. I absolutely love the combo of garlic, lemon, parmesan, shrimp, and pasta. The zoodles really add a nice touch!

That peaches & cream oatmeal bake seriously looks amazing. <3 I'm so glad I found your blog this year! :]

One of the best decisions I made for my blog this year was…to stop being antisocial (I'd been keeping my blog pretty much private before April of this year :P ), and it's definitely been awesome connecting with different bloggers all over the place! :]
